On November 14-15, 2016, Dr. Eldar Shahgaldiyev, Head of Khazar University Division for Graduate Studies and Research, participated in an international seminar on “Intellectual Property Policy in Universities and Research Institutions and Research Activities” organized by The Copyright Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, State Committee on Standardization Metrology and Patents and Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan in collaboration with The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Michal Svantner, Director of Department for Transition and Developed Countries, WIPO; Emil Pot, Director of Business Development, Legal and Intellectual Property at ActoGeniX; Dr. Mohammad Alhabbal, Consultant of WIPO; Dariusz Kasprzycki, professor of Jagiellonian University, Poland and other representatives from state and educational institutions made speeches in the seminar.
