On April 26, 2022, Khazar University's Downtown Campus hosted the 73rd session of the traditional Assembly of Science and Art on "The World and Azerbaijan: Water Resources and Sustainable Use."

Khazar University Founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Professor, Academician Hamlet Isakhanli opened the event with an introductory speech and spoke about the role of water in the world and in Azerbaijan today. The floor was given to Dr. Rovshan Abbasov, Head of the Department of Geography and Environment at KhazarUniversity to speak on this issue.

R.Abbasov made a comprehensive report based on scientific research. Hamlet Isakhanli, Irada Khalilova, Ingilab Ahmadov (Khazar University), Makhluga Huseynova (BSU), Alovsat Guliyev (corresponding member of ANAS), Gorkhmaz Ibrahimli (NGO), Rza Mahmudov (ANAS), Vasif Yahyayev (AZERSU), Asim Samadov (Land Reclamation Department) and others spoke in the discussions around the report.

Discussions on the issue continued around the tea table.
