On September 22-23, 2020 Virtual trainings were held within the framework of Unilab project at the University of Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona (UPF). Khazar University’s faculty members and students participated in the trainings conducted via Zoom platform.
The first day of the training commenced with a greeting from Oriol Amat, the Dean of the UPF Barcelona School of Management (BSM), and Carme Royo, the Executive Director of EUCEN (European University Continuing Education Network). In the first part of the meeting, the speakers talked about the role of career centers in universities. Then the representatives of “Grupo Planeta” and EY Spain Talent Attraction and Acquisition spoke about the role of employers. After the discussions, a workshop was held in groups and the participants shared their experiences during the day. The first day of the training concluded with a closing speech by Carme Royo.
The second day of the virtual meeting began with a speech by Ramon Bastida, Deputy Dean of UPF BSM. Following that the floor was given to the students. Students shared their experiences with the audience and answered questions. After the lunch break, on the second day of the workshop, the groups worked again, and partner universities from Spain, Russia, Austria, France and Azerbaijan held a discussion and answered the questions. At the next stage, Carme Royo spoke about the work to be done within the project. The two-day training ended with a speech by Ramon Bastida.
