On September 2, 2019, the presentation and discussion of books donated by Japan’s Nippon Foundation under the “100 Books to Understand Modern Japan” Project was held at KhazarUniversity Library and Information Center.
Dr. Tatyana Zaitseva, Director of Khazar University LIC, briefed on the mission and goals of the Nippon Foundation.
Dr. Bahman Amani, the Head of English Language and Literature Department said that these books were a wonderful addition to Khazar University’s library collection.
The staff of the LIC expressed their firm belief that this collection will help readers to learn about the Japanese community and also expressed their hope that the collaboration between Khazar University and the Nippon Foundation would continue further.
