Teams that will represent our country in the International Informatics Olympiad (IIO 2019) to be held in Azerbaijan on 4-11 August 2019, are defined. Azerbaijan will be represented by two teams in this competition.
The first team includes Abutalib Namazov, Murad Eynizade, Ibrahim Taghizade, students from Physics, Mathematics and Informatics Lyceum under the Ministry of Education; Farhad Azimov, Lyceum named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva under the Ministry. As for the second team, it includes Fatima Omarova, student from Physics, Mathematics and Informatics Lyceum under the Ministry; Aziz Huseynov, “Dunya” School under Khazar University; Huseyn Hajiyev, Lyceum named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva under the Ministry; and Amin Jalilov, student from secondary school number 269 of Baku.
It should be noted that two qualifying exams were held to determine the country's teams to represent in the Olympiad. The winners of the Republican Subject Olympiads on informatics were invited to the exams.
