On May 20-23, 2019, staff members of Khazar University participated in a training that took place within the PAWER project at Kyrgyz National Agrarian University, Bishkek.
Khazar University is one of the universities participating in the PAWER (Paving the Way to Interregional Mobility and Ensuring Relevance, Quality and Equity of Access) project coordinated by the University of L’Aquila (Italy). The project aims at promoting and supporting mobility between EU and partner countries by harmonizing the credit allocation and grading system.
The training brought together representatives of universities from Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. During the training, Khazar University was represented by Dr. Fakhranda Alimardanova, Vice-dean of the School of Science and Engineering and Ulkar Bayramova, teacher of School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences.
The goal of the training was to discuss important issues associated with mobility of students and staff, including Bologna process, ECTS, mobility agreements, support before, during and after exchanges, mobility policy, and others. The training also aimed at preparing national trainers who will continue disseminating project information by delivering workshops and building capacity in their home countries.
