Ilgar Orujov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Young Scientists, Doctoral Students and Masters Society, who emphasized the importance of a higher institution's international ranking, educational opportunities, and exchange programmes, noted that several criteria must be taken into consideration when selecting a higher education institution, in order to successfully pursue a master's degree abroad upon completing their undergraduate studies. This also concerns enrollment at prestigious higher education institutions.

Orujov further stated that, in this regard, Khazar University stands out among private universities. "Khazar" is one of the first private English-language higher education institutions in our country and maintains extensive international connections. Orujov particularly emphasized that Khazar University actively participates in exchange programmes such as Erasmus.
