Department Head on AnewZ Channel

On April 29, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy, appeared as a guest on AnewZ channel in Nadia Gyane's program titled "Türkiye-Armenia Talks: Rail Project Signals Progress."

Assoc. Prof. Valiyev stated that the normalization between Türkiye and Armenia would also have a positive impact on the Azerbaijan–Armenia peace process. This is because the reopening of the railway and land border between the two countries is of significant importance for Azerbaijan in terms of the Zangezur corridor.
