An event titled "Life's Journey Is Not Just a Road..." dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Shahin Isayev, Construction and Renovation Manager at Khazar University, was held on April 2, 2026, in the Marble Hall of Khazar University. The event opened with "Love Dance" by People's Artist Fikrat Amirov, performed by soloist Nurlan Ganjali, accompanied on piano by Zulfiyya Sadiqova, Head of the Music and Fine Arts Department and Honored Teacher. A photo and video presentation chronicling the life journey of Shahin Isayev was then shown.
The Founder of Khazar University, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, shared his personal recollections of Shahin Isayev. He noted that although Shahin is the youngest among the brothers, he distinguished himself from childhood through his character, intellect, and diligence, and that his dedication to chess, football, and sports in general played an important role in shaping his future life. H. Isakhanli also spoke about Shahin Isayev's youth and student years, highlighting his long-standing connection with Khazar University, his contributions to the university's development as an engineer, and his steadfast commitment to that endeavor. Conveying his best wishes on the occasion of the jubilee, H. Isakhanli expressed his confidence in Isayev's continued success.
Khazar University Rector Dr. Razia Isaeva spoke of Shahin Isayev's outstanding personal qualities and the affection he has earned from the university community through his sincerity, noting that these qualities play a vital role in achieving success. Dr. Isaeva emphasized that Shahin Isayev has made a significant contribution to the construction of the university's campuses as well as to other important undertakings.
Khazar Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Muhammad Nuriyev, along with university staff members Alovsаt Amirbayli and Piri Piriyev, shared their memories of Shahin Isayev and extended their warm wishes.
Faculty members of the Music and Fine Arts Department — ashug Ramin Garayev, Mahsati Jabbarova, and dancer Tahira Bayramova — conveyed their congratulations through their performances.
Shahin Isayev expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the event held in honor of his 60th jubilee and pledged to continue working with dedication for the advancement of the university.
At the conclusion of the event, Prof. Acad. Isakhanli and Dr. Isaeva presented commemorative gifts to Shahin Isayev.
