Department Head Appears on Television Programs

Assoc. Prof. Telman Nusratoglu, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology at Khazar University, appeared on Azerbaijani television channels on April 3, 2026, providing an extensive analysis of the latest developments in the region.

The department head was a guest on the programs “Hedef” on AzTV, “Gundem” on ARB 24, and “Aktual Gundem” on Baku TV.

During his appearances, Assoc. Prof. Telman Nusratoglu shared his views on the current situation surrounding Iran, U.S.–Israel–Iran relations, and the prospects for an escalation of the existing military tensions. He also spoke about the unlikelihood of the United States conducting ground operations against Iran, the domestic political situation in the U.S., and the potential impact of a war on the country's internal politics. Nusratoglu also offered his forecasts regarding the future trajectory of relations between Iran and the Arab Gulf states in the region.
