The dual degree program and student exchange project implemented between Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University (ATMU), Khazar University, and IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences of Austria continues successfully and creates new opportunities in the field of international academic cooperation.
Within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Austria Tourism Program, which has been implemented since 2007 based on the academic cooperation agreement signed between ATMU and the University of Krems in Austria, students complete three academic years in accordance with international quality standards and obtain two diplomas — from both ATMU and IMC Krems University. This program not only ensures international recognition of education in the field of tourism and management, but also provides students with the opportunity to study in Austria and work with highly qualified experts.
Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, the scope of this program has been further expanded within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between Khazar University and Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University. Students of the School of Economics and Management at Khazar University studying in the Tourism Management major have been included in the dual degree program. The continuation of the project in the following academic years and the expansion of student exchange opportunities are envisioned.
