On December 25, 2025, a scientific-practical seminar on the topic "Application of Child-Centered Principles in Pre-School Groups (in the Context of School Transition for 5-6 Year-Old Children)" was held by doctoral student Farghana Seyidli, organized by the Graduate School of Science, Arts and Technology and the Department of Education.
The presenter is pursuing doctoral education in "Education" at the University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom under a tripartite agreement with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Khazar University within the framework of the "State Program on Increasing International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023."
During the seminar, the fundamental principles of the child-centered approach, the practical application of these principles during the school preparation stage (ages 5-6), as well as the impact of teacher decision-making and behavior on children's learning and emotional well-being were discussed in detail.
