The Department of English Language and Literature successfully organized a two-part webinar series titled “The Art of Writing” on September 18 and October 9, 2025.

The sessions were conducted by Dr. Vahid Asgari, an International Business Affairs Consultant and ESL/EFL Instructor, who shared his expertise and practical insights into developing strong academic and professional writing skills.

The first session, held on September 18, focused on “Sentence and Paragraph Writing.” During this session, participants learned about the structure and logic of effective writing, techniques for building coherent paragraphs, and strategies to achieve clarity in expression.

The second session, held on October 9, was devoted to “Essay and Academic Writing.” Dr. Asgari guided attendees through the process of organizing essays and maintaining academic style and tone in written communication.

The webinar series provided valuable knowledge and encouraged active participation, with attendees having the opportunity to ask questions and discuss challenges in academic writing.
