Online Workshop on “Barriers to Teaching English to ESL/EFL Learners and How to Tackle Them”

On September 11, 2025, the Department of English Language and Literature organized an online workshop on “Barriers to Teaching English to ESL/EFL Learners and How to Tackle Them.” The session was conducted by Dr. Vahid Asgari, INT’L Business Affairs Consultant & ESL/EFL instructor.

The seminar discussed the main challenges in teaching English—such as language barriers, lack of resources, motivation issues, cultural differences, and limited exposure to the language—and introduced practical approaches to overcome them.

More than 25 teachers participated in this workshop. At the end, the teachers shared their own perspectives on the topic.
