On June 23, 2025, a meeting was held at Khazar University with a delegation from Türkiye's Konya Technical University.

The meeting was attended by Konya Technical University Rector Osman Nuri Çelik, Secretary General Kamil Gök, Khazar University Acting Rector Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev, Dean of the Graduate School of Natural Science, Art and Technology Dr. Gunel Bahaddinova, Dean of the School of Economics and Management Dr. Raziya Isayeva, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering Dr. Fakhranda Afandiyeva, and International Relations Department Coordinator Seyran Aliyeva.

During the meeting, discussions were held on developing bilateral relations, preparing joint projects, as well as student-faculty exchange programs, and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed at the end of the meeting.

At the conclusion, the parties presented gifts to each other and took commemorative photographs.
