On March 4, 2025, a meeting was held at Khazar University with Giovanni Urru, a representative of Spain's Católica San Antonio de Murcia University (UCAM). The meeting was attended by Raziya Isayeva, Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Khazar University, Fatima Valiyeva, Head of the International Relations Department, and department coordinators Seyran Aliyeva and Ilgara Abdullayeva.

During the meeting, presentations were delivered by Fatima Valiyeva about Khazar University and by Giovanni Urru, the UCAM University representative, about UCAM.

The meeting discussed strengthening cooperation between the two universities, including opportunities for student and academic staff exchange within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, organization of joint projects, and prospects for expanding other international activities.
