On June 12, 2025, a meeting was held at Khazar University with a delegation from China's Dalian University. The meeting was attended by Prof. Guo Shuhong, Director of the Center for Chinese Studies at Dalian University, Associate Prof. Chen Zhen, Deputy Head of the Economics Department, and Prof. Diao Xiuhua from the Institute of Marxism at Dalian University of Technology, along with Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev, Acting Rector of Khazar University, faculty deans, and staff members from the International Relations Department.

During the meeting, presentations about Khazar University were delivered by Seyran Aliyeva, Coordinator of the International Relations Department, while Prof. Guo Shuhong and Associate Prof. Chen Zhen presented information about Dalian University.

Within the framework of the meeting, academic cooperation and strengthening of relations between both educational institutions were discussed, and an exchange of views regarding next steps was conducted.

At the end, gifts were presented and commemorative photographs were taken.
