During May 2025, students and researchers from Khazar University's Civil Engineering Department participated in two scientific-technical conferences held at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, worthily representing the university's scientific-academic activities. The involvement of department students in scientific research, expansion of international cooperation opportunities, and investigation of important topics related to emergency situations were the main focus of these events.
On May 7, 2025, at the scientific conference titled "Climate Change Combat and 'Green World': Research and Applications" held at the Ministry of Emergency Situations Academy, Civil Engineering Department student Sariyya Abishova presented her article titled "Current Problems of Emergency Response in Construction." The article scientifically explained the impact of climate change on the construction sector and ways to prevent potential emergencies in this direction.
At the X Scientific-Technical Conference organized on May 27, 2025, dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Sariyya Abishova continued her scientific research by presenting a second article, while Jala Asgarova delivered a presentation with her article titled "Fire Safety in Construction Sites," providing recommendations on risk reduction methods. Ibrahim Aslan, a doctoral student conducting research at Khazar University through the Erasmus+ program, spoke about the practical importance of engineering graphics with his scientific presentation titled "Accuracy, Safety, and Technical Reliability Aspects in Engineering Graphics."
Aynura Aliyeva, a collaborator of both Khazar University and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, closely participated as scientific supervisor in the preparation of all three students' scientific works. Thanks to her guidance and scientific support, the students' research was prepared and accepted in accordance with conference requirements.
Additionally, Elnur Ganiyev, assistant at the Civil Engineering Department, played an important role in organizational work during the editing of students' articles and preparation of presentations. He coordinated the students' conference preparation and adapted presentation materials and articles to technical and academic requirements.
Under the leadership of Dr. Rasim Bayramli, Head of Khazar University's Civil Engineering Department, students' scientific activities are becoming increasingly stronger. Students and researchers who participated in both conferences were awarded certificates, and their articles were accepted for publication in conference proceedings.
