A meeting with a delegation from Istanbul Beykent University of Türkiye was held at Khazar University on May 13, 2025.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Volkan Öngel, Rector of Istanbul Beykent University, Dr. İsmail Erkan Çelik, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Aybala Yavuzarslan, Head of International Relations Department, and Serhat Butur, Coordinator of the university's Student Deanship. From Khazar University, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of the university and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Muhammad Nuriyev, Acting Rector, faculty deans and staff of the International Relations Department participated.

During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation in the field of education between the two universities were discussed, as well as opportunities for implementing joint projects in other areas of mutual interest. The parties exchanged views on developing academic relations and establishing sustainable cooperation.

At the event, Fatima Valiyeva, Head of the International Relations Department, gave a presentation about Khazar University, providing the guests with extensive information about the university's history, international collaborations, and opportunities.

Within the framework of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Khazar University and Istanbul Beykent University. This document provides the basis for implementing joint projects and establishing bilateral partnerships.

At the end of the meeting, gifts were presented and commemorative photos were taken.
