On April 30, 2025, a meeting was held with Prof. Dr. Hartman Douglas Keith from Michigan State University (USA) and Prof. Dr. Dilek Altun from Boğaziçi University (Türkiye), with the participation of faculty deans, education department and International Relations department staff of Khazar University.

During the meeting, representatives of Khazar University and the guests provided detailed information about their respective universities. A presentation about Michigan State University was delivered by Dr. Hartman Douglas, Professor of Teacher Training at the Education Department of Michigan State University.

Issues regarding strengthening partnership and relations among Khazar University, Boğaziçi University, and Michigan State University were discussed, and an exchange of ideas regarding next steps took place. Additionally, collaboration opportunities between educational institutions, joint scientific research, academic programs, and partnership possibilities were the main discussion topics of the meeting.
