A delegation from Khazar University, led by the university's founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, and the Head of the Department of English Language and Literature, Dr. Milana Abbasova, paid an official visit to Anhui University in Hefei, People’s Republic of China, from May 6 to 7, 2025.

The official program commenced with a warm welcome by Prof. Yu Baotao, Secretary of the Party Committee of Anhui University, who underscored the significance of strengthening scientific and educational ties between the two institutions. In his remarks, he emphasized the potential of the agreement to foster regional cooperation through academic exchange and collaborative research.

Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli delivered the opening remarks, expressing gratitude for Anhui University’s hospitality and reaffirming Khazar University’s commitment to promoting global academic dialogue and innovation. As part of the program, Dr. Milana Abbasova provided a brief overview of Khazar University, introducing its research strengths and international vision.

Following a productive session of discussions, the two universities officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding. The signing ceremony was followed by a group photo and a tour of the Anhui University campus, allowing the Khazar University delegation to gain deeper insight into the host institution’s academic atmosphere and research capabilities.

On the second day of the visit, the delegation explored several key academic and research units at Anhui University, including the School of Artificial Intelligence, the Industry-Education-Research Institute of Advanced Materials and Technology for Integrated Circuits, the School of Computer Science and Technology, and the School of Electronic and Information Engineering. These visits provided valuable exposure to Anhui University’s cutting-edge research and technological initiatives.

The visit concluded with a farewell lunch and the delegation’s departure from Hefei.
