The founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, delivered a comprehensive presentation on "Research University and Industry: History and Today; Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence that Change the World" at the opening of the International Forum titled "University-Industry Collaboration, Directions, Examples and Artificial Intelligence" at Azerbaijan Technical University on May 15, 2025.

The event was hosted by Azerbaijan Technical University (ATU) with the support of the Turkish-Azerbaijani University and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Organizations of Azerbaijan. The opening featured speeches by Prof. Dr. Vilayat Valiyev, Rector of ATU; Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Farid Valizadeh, Chief Advisor to the President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Organizations of Azerbaijan; Prof. Dr. Mustafa Güden, Professor at Izmir Institute of High Technology; Prof. Dr. Mesut Güneri, Deputy Chairman of TÜBİTAK; and others.
