On May 14, 2025, Dr. Sevinc Gambarova, coordinator of the Languages Department at the Department of Languages and Literature, participated in a scientific conference held at Baku State University on the theme "Azerbaijani Philological Thought in Contemporary Research" dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev's birth.

Dr. Sevinc Gambarova's presentation on "Forms of Expression of the Law of Harmony in Turkic Languages" was received with interest and followed by questions. The speaker discussed the types of harmony law (palatal, labial) considered the iron law of Turkic languages, its area of usage, the strength of harmony in ancient Turkic written monuments, the use of certain consonants in two variants according to vowel harmony, and how this law is preserved in various forms in modern Turkic languages and dialects.
