An international education exhibition titled "Education Global Exhibition (EDGEx 2025)" was organized in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, from April 13 to 16, 2025, with the participation of higher education institutions from various countries around the world. Khazar University was among the higher education institutions representing Azerbaijan at this prestigious event.
Within the framework of the event, Prof. Ahmed Sami Elaydi, the Rector's Advisor for International Relations at Khazar University, held bilateral meetings with representatives of various Arab and international universities, discussing scientific and academic cooperation opportunities of mutual interest. The meetings primarily focused on topics such as student and faculty exchange, organization of joint scientific conferences, collaborative research projects, and cooperation in international scientific publications.
During the event, detailed information about Khazar University was provided to exhibition participants and interested parties, including the university's history, academic faculties, English-language instruction opportunities, international programs, and scholarship and accommodation options available to students. Additionally, the university's international relations and future cooperation prospects with Arab countries were emphasized.
The EDGEx exhibition is considered one of the most extensive and comprehensive events regarding the future of higher education in the Middle East. This year's exhibition was attended by more than 100 universities and higher education institutions, thousands of student representatives, education managers, teachers, and specialists working in the field of international education. Panel discussions and training seminars were held on current topics such as innovations in education, digital transformation, international cooperation, quality assurance, and global challenges in higher education.
The event also served as an important platform for promoting Azerbaijan's education in the Arab world, and Khazar University plans to actively participate in such initiatives in the future.
