On April 22, 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Azerbaijan and an embassy staff member paid a visit to Khazar University.

The meeting was held with the participation of Prof. Muhammad Nuriyev, Acting Rector of Khazar University, department heads, and staff from the International Relations Department.

During the meeting, Ambassador Kęstutis Vaškelevičius of the Republic of Lithuania to Azerbaijan and Embassy Counselor, Deputy Head of Mission Viktoras Dagilis discussed matters of strengthening partnership and cooperation with representatives of Khazar University, and exchanged views on next steps. Additionally, opportunities for academic exchange between Khazar University and Lithuanian universities, joint research projects, and collaboration in areas of mutual interest were reviewed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, gifts were presented and commemorative photos were taken.
