On April 27 and May 4, 2025, first-year students of the School of Natural Sciences and Engineering at Khazar University went on an excursion to the Gobustan State Historical and Artistic Reserve under the guidance of Dr. Yaqub Mammadov, lecturer at the Department of History and Archaeology.

During the excursion, Dr. Yaqub Mammadov provided students with extensive information about the archaeological study of Gobustan and the archaeological artifacts preserved in the museum. Discussions were also held with students on the numerous pictographic samples carved on the rocks, their techniques of depiction, and their place in world heritage.

It should be noted that visits to museums serve to reinforce the theoretical knowledge students acquire and are regularly organized as part of the educational process.
