Ayaz Mahammad oglu Huseynov, a graduate of Khazar University with a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering (2000–2005), has been appointed Deputy Head of Baku City Executive Power. He pursued his master’s studies in “Production and Operations Management” at the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry from 2007 to 2010. Mr. Huseynov began his professional career in 2004 as a foreman at the Reinforced Concrete Products Plant. He later served as an engineer and deputy head of the technical planning and production department.

From 2005 to 2006, he fulfilled his mandatory military service. After completing his service, he continued his career in 2006–2007 as deputy head of the production planning and later the technical production departments at the “Xəzərdənizneftqaztikinti” Trust. In 2007–2008, he worked at the Investment Department of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), first as a specialist and then as an engineer. From 2010 to 2018, he held various positions at SOCAR’s head office. Since 2018, he has served as the head of the Department of Municipal Economy at the Baku City Executive Power.
