A graduate of Khazar University, Rakhshanda Ikram gizi Dashdamirova, has launched the internet news portal Ulusum.az. Ulusum.az Information Agency is a media organization implementing an independent information policy. The entity received its Azerbaijan Republic Media Registry certificate on March 12, 2025.

Ulusum.az provides its readers with operative information about events occurring in Azerbaijan, the region, and the world, presenting reportage, investigations, interviews, and other journalistic materials.

The newly created platform aims to illuminate topical issues in national identity, literature, culture, and public thought, while simultaneously creating an enlightening space for young writers and readers.

The founder of the site, Rakhshanda Dashdamirova, stated that the Ulusum.az concept emerged as a result of long-term observations and public needs: "Ulusum.az aspires to be not merely a news portal, but a thought platform that preserves and develops national values."

Distinguished by its modern design and content approach, the website is already actively operating on social media. Future objectives of the project include various discussion forums, writing competitions, and interactive projects for youth.

About the Graduate

R. Dashdamirova received her bachelor's degree in "English Language and Literature" from Khazar University during 1994-1998, and her master's degree in "English Language and Literature" specialization during 1998-2001.

She began her professional life as an elementary school English teacher at A. Maharramov Secondary School No. 7, later continuing at Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations, State Radio Frequencies Department of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, and the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies. Additionally, she served as deputy director at "Fortuna" LLC. Since August 2024, R. Dashdamirova has been continuing her professional activity as the director of Global Management Consulting LLC.
