Khazar University Alumna Conducts Seminar for Students

On March 14, 2025, the Career and Alumni Center organized a seminar titled “Duolingo vs TOEFL/IELTS, which is better?” for students majoring in English Language Teaching and Translation (English language). The workshop was conducted by Yagut Nuriyeva, a Khazar University alumna and founder of Cambridge Education Center.

During her presentation, Ms. Nuriyeva elucidated the fundamental distinctions between TOEFL/IELTS and Duolingo, elaborating on their international recognition, test structures, and the comparative advantages and disadvantages of Duolingo.

Additionally, she challenged students with grammatical questions and administered both oral and written assessments. Students demonstrated enthusiastic participation in responding to the inquiries.

Based on the evaluation outcomes, five high-performing students will be granted the opportunity to receive a one-month complimentary education program at Cambridge Education Center.
