On March 8, 2025, the Khazar University Chamber Orchestra performed at the International Mugham Center as part of the First Fikret Amirov Republic-wide Music Festival. The concert featured compositions by Fikret Amirov performed both with accompaniment by the Chamber Orchestra's artistic director, head of Khazar University's Music and Arts Department, honored teacher and renowned pianist Zulfiyya Sadigova, as well as with full orchestral accompaniment. Composer Sevda Rahimova arranged the performed works for chamber orchestra.

Soloists from the International Mugham Center – Kamila Nabiyeva performed "Night Has Passed," Ayshan Mehdiyeva performed "Lullaby," soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater Gunel Hajiyeva performed "My Flower," and honored artist Aliahmed Ibrahimov performed "Houses with Chambers." Additionally, Nigar Asgarova performed "Lands of Azerbaijan," Ibrahim Guliyev performed "I'll Smile if You Smile," Nuray Shushali performed "I Will Search for You," and Nurlan Ganjili performed "Dance of the Girls" for oboe and piano. The concert concluded with "Scheherazade's Celebration" from the ballet "A Thousand and One Nights."

The concert concluded amid enthusiastic applause from the audience.
