On February 27, 2025, a seminar titled “Reading, Writing, and Living” was held at the Narimanov campus, organized by the Baku Yunus Emre Institute's initiative and the Department of Languages and Literatures at Khazar University. The event was attended by Güven Çolak, director of the Baku Yunus Emre Institute, faculty members of the Department of Languages and Literatures, and university students.

The seminar was moderated by Dr. Semiha Özel Yaman from the Department of Languages and Literatures.
As the first guest of the “Türkiye and Turkology Conference Series” project, writer Aykut Ertuğrul shared his insights on topics that particularly captured the students' attention, such as “how writing takes shape”, “sources of inspiration for writing”, and the psychology of creativity. It is worth noting that Aykut Ertuğrul's book “The best of possible stories”, published in 2013, was awarded the “Best Story Book” prize by the Turkish Writers' Association.
In the continuation of the seminar, the presentation by Associate Professor Ülvi Babasoy on the main discussed topic sparked interest among the listeners. Afterwards, Aykut Ertuğrul answered questions from the students.
