On February 26, 2025, a screening of the film "Old Suitcases" and a meeting with the creative team was held at the Narimanov campus of Khazar University, organized by the Department of Languages and Literature. After opening the event with an introductory speech, the department head, Assoc. Prof. Dilbar Zeynalova, greeted the guests and commemorated the memory of those who were martyred in Khojaly and for the homeland in general.

The film "Old Suitcases" depicts human destinies (especially women's) and their tragedies during the First and Second Karabakh Wars. The film was directed by Saida Hagverdiyeva, with a screenplay by Sevda Sultanova. The film also includes real footage from the Second Karabakh War and Victory Day. The cast features People's Artist, Professor of ADAU Mammadsafa Gasimov, Honored Artist Gulzar Gurbanova, actresses Zemfira Abdulsamadova, Zumrud Gasimova, Zulfiyya Gurbanova, Ulviyya Aliyeva, actor Turkay Jafarli, one of the screenplay authors Sevda Sultanova, cinematographer Shahmar Safaroglu, film editor Hamida Rustamova, and actors from the Oyug Theater Studio.
