Following a strong showing of interest by students at an information session about the Mentoring Program, which was organized by the Department of Economics and Management and the distinguished winners of the "Yuksalish" Competition, mentors Asad Gurbanzadeh, Farahim Hajiyev, Ulkar Malikova, and Ilaha Bakhishova Tahirli, a call for applications was made for III and IV year students of the School of Economics and Management. The application period took place from October to December 2024. After a thorough evaluation of the applications, six students from the school were selected to participate in the Mentoring Program within the framework of the "Yuksalish" Competition.
The students selected by the mentors from the School of Economics and Management—Nuray Azizova, Anvar Badalov, Emil Babazade, Ulkar Huseynli, Aytaj Shahveranova, and Huseyn Dadashov—will receive personalized mentorship for one year, in addition to the opportunity to gain experience through internships and potential employment during the program.
Throughout the Mentoring Program, individual meetings were conducted, during which mentors provided valuable guidance on career planning and professional development. Drawing from their own experiences, the mentors shared insights on how to thrive in the workplace and how to address potential challenges. At the conclusion of those sessions, the students were given the opportunity to have their questions addressed.
