Dr. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy and Associate Professor of Political Sciences, has commenced participation in the "More Liberal" project, organized by Daha TV with support from the ASAN Innovation Center and ASAN TV. Starting February 5, 2025, the project will feature monthly discussions on academic topics. The project will explore various subjects within social sciences with academic rigor yet accessible presentation, including state governance, sovereignty, language, Turkic World, nationalism, capitalism, human society, philosophy, and history.

The program will be moderated by Agshin Yenisey, poet, writer, and one of Daha TV's executives, featuring discussions between Dr. Orkhan Valiyev and Nijat Mammadli, Advisor to the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Considering President Ilham Aliyev's decree declaring 2025 as the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" in Azerbaijan, the inaugural episode was dedicated to the concept of sovereignty. The program examined sovereignty from theoretical, philosophical, and historical perspectives.
