On January 27-28, 2025, the Department of English Language and Literature organized a seminar on "Pre-service Teacher Training." The seminar, presented by Michael Collins, was designed for students studying English Language Teaching at Khazar University.

The first day of the seminar addressed classroom management, teacher persona development during lessons, and successful organization of classroom discussions. The second day focused on proper lesson planning, practical vocabulary teaching, and ensuring educational continuity.
