Khazar University Lecturer's Book Published

A textbook titled "Azerbaijani and Turkish Versions of 'Koroglu' Epic in Europe" by Khazar University lecturer Elza Ismayilova has been published following the decision No. 1/21-22 of Khazar University Scientific Council dated May 6, 2022. The scientific editor is Doctor of Philological Sciences Mukhtar Kazimoglu (Imanov), and reviewers are PhDs in Philology Dilbar Zeynalova and Khatira Yusifova.

The textbook addresses one of the current and less-studied issues in folklore studies: the translation, publication, and research of Azerbaijani and Turkish versions of the "Koroglu" epic in European languages. The work evaluates existing research in this field and clarifies numerous aspects. Scientific articles and books written by European researchers about "Koroglu" are extensively analyzed. The textbook is designed for university teachers and students. Those interested in this field can also benefit from the book.
