On December 24, 2024, second-year students from Khazar University's Chemistry-Biology and Biology Teaching programs visited the Central Botanical Garden under the guidance of Life Sciences Department instructor G. Shafiyeva. The excursion was organized to provide students with new knowledge in the field of natural sciences.

Asif Mehraliyev, a research scientist at the Central Botanical Garden, informed students about both local and introduced plants from various countries around the world, explaining how they adapt to different ecological environments and their adaptation processes.

At the end of the excursion, garden staff presented students with useful books that they can use in their educational process.
