On January 25, 2025, Khazar University’s Department of Economics and Management, in collaboration with the Economic Research and Training Center, successfully organized a seminar on “Tax Code Amendments 2025”. The event, held at Fikrat Amirov Conference and Concert Center, attracted significant interest from accountants, financial experts, and entrepreneurs.

The seminar was moderated by Radil Fatullayev, President of the Economic Research and Training Center. Speakers included Asif Zeynalov, Chief Accountant at AEM Elektron; Kamran Mammadov, Finance Manager at Green City Group of Companies; and Narmin Qurbanaliyeva, PMS 2 Trainer at IATM MMC.

The discussions focused on recent changes in tax legislation, their impact on businesses and individuals, as well as new tax requirements and their implementation strategies. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions on the latest tax developments.

Attendees praised the seminar’s high-level organization and emphasized the importance of holding similar events in the future.
