From January 20-24, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökçen Çatlı, a faculty member and dean's assistant from Istanbul Aydin University in Türkiye, visited Khazar University as part of the ERASMUS+ (KA171) exchange program.
During the initial meeting, key university representatives were present, including Assoc. Prof. Telman Nusretoglu, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology, along with department faculty members Dr. Sohrab Mustafayev, Orhan Zamanov, Dr. Nurlan Nasirov, Dr. Ramin Fatullayev, and Jeyran Mammadova. The meeting also included Fatima Valiyeva, Director of International Relations, Ilgara Abdullayeva, Coordinator of International Relations, and Kamala Mustafayeva, Coordinator of the Quality Assurance Center.
In subsequent days, Dr. Çatlı met with Department Head Telman Nusretoglu to discuss potential collaborative projects and strengthening inter-university relations. As part of the program, she visited the Yanar Dag State Historical, Cultural, and Natural Reserve and the Ateshgah Temple State Historical and Architectural Reserve, accompanied by Ilgara Abdullayeva.
At the conclusion of the exchange program, Dr. Çatlı was presented with a corresponding certificate, marking the successful completion of her academic visit.
