On January 7, 2025, Khazar University hosted a meeting with representatives from Hasvet Medical Group, a leading veterinary company operating in Türkiye, with delegates from both Baku and Türkiye operations. The meeting was attended by Hidayet Simsek, CEO and founder of Hasvet Medical Group, Yunus Emre Buyukballi, company coordinator, and Mehmet Kocak, director of Hasvet International Animal Hospital Baku, alongside Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, as well as vice-rectors, deans, and department heads.

The primary focus of the meeting was to discuss the expansion of the veterinary medicine department's scope of activities, enhancement of educational quality, and development of material and technical infrastructure.

On January 9, a site visit was organized to Hasvet International Animal Hospital in Baku to explore their facilities and clinical operations.
