On December 26, 2024, a round table on "Secrets of Public Speaking" was organized under the moderation of Dr. Sevinj Gambarova, lecturer at the Department of Languages and Literature. Initially, the discussion focused on Honored Journalist Prof. Gulu Maharramli's role in Azerbaijani press and journalism, his scientific-pedagogical activities, numerous books, documentaries, etc., and he was congratulated on his anniversary. Then, Prof. Gulu Maharramli spoke in detail about speech culture, diction, logic and technique of speech, concepts of language and speech, reading culture, etc., and answered students' questions. The topic "Secrets of Public Speaking," which always maintains its relevance, generated great interest from the audience and led to discussions.
