On December 24, 2024, the Department of Political Science and Philosophy at Khazar University organized a presentation of the book "Azerbaijanis Whose Final Destination is Istanbul" by Azerbaijani journalist, writer, researcher Dilgam Ahmad, who was awarded the jubilee medal "100th Anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-2018)."
The event began with an opening speech by Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees.
The event continued under the moderation of Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy, with speeches by Prof. Fikrat Rzayev (Vice-Rector for Social and Humanitarian Affairs at ASPU), Dr. Cihangir Ishbilir (Media Advisor to the Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan), Prof. Adalat Tahirzade (lecturer at Baku Eurasian University), and Assoc. Prof. Mehdi Ganjali (lecturer at Marmara University and editor of the book).
In his speech, author Dilgam Ahmad talked about the creation of this book, archival research, and the restoration of the graves of Azerbaijanis whose final destination is Istanbul. He presented a copy of his book as a gift to Khazar University.
After the question-and-answer session with the author concluded, the event ended with Hamlet Isakhanli presenting a gift to Dilgam Ahmad.
