Aygün Muradova, a third-year student majoring in Chemistry and Biology Education at Khazar University, successfully completed the internationally recognized "Global Youth Climate Training Programme 2024" and was awarded an international certificate. This prestigious program was organized by Oxford University, the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, and the Global Youth Coalition, with the aim of supporting youth climate initiatives on a global scale.
By participating in this training program, Aygün Muradova expanded her knowledge and gained new experiences in the field of climate change. She gained experience in topics such as sustainable development, resource management, and global climate policy.
During her volunteer work at COP29, Aygün Muradova also had the opportunity to personally meet collaborators from the Global Youth Coalition and Oxford University, as well as Agustin Ocaña, one of the program's co-organizers. "Meeting Agustin was very significant for me. His approaches to climate change and mission to support young people around the world gave me great motivation," Aygün noted.
Expressing her gratitude to Alexis McGivern, another program organizer, Aygün Muradova thanked both Alexis and Agustin for their support to young people fighting climate change. "The work done by both organizers inspires us to reach even greater goals," she emphasized.
