On November 21-24, 2024, Abdullahi Aduagba Yahaya, Vice President of the Khazar University Foreign Student Club, participated in the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) General Assembly meeting in Thessaloniki, Greece. It should be noted that ESN is one of the largest student organizations in Europe, and the General Assembly is the primary decision-making body where important issues regarding the organization's activities are discussed and voted on.

Abdullahi submitted an application to the ESN International Council and ESN national representatives from 45 countries for the acceptance of the Khazar University Foreign Student Club as a new local branch in Azerbaijan. Subsequently, during the standard question-and-answer session, Abdullahi provided comprehensive information about the club to the participants, and the club was unanimously confirmed as the local ESN branch in Azerbaijan under the name "ESN Khazar".

Abdullahi's active participation in the plenary session was particularly praised by delegates and International Council members, and he was elected as a group leader, delivering a speech on ESN's structure, governance, and financing.

After the General Assembly, Vice President Abdullahi conducted consultations with national organization representatives and studied their experiences. At the end of the Plenary Session, he presented gifts and souvenirs to ESN International Council members and representatives.
