Representatives from Türkiye’s Bartın University - Pro-Rector for International Relations and Technological Projects Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zahmakıran, Head of International Relations Department and Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Education Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yirmibeş, Rector's Assistant Turgut Delialioğlu, and PR Office Head Mehmet Ceylan visited Khazar University on December 2-3, 2024, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Student and Staff Exchange Program (Erasmus+ K171).

On the first day of the visit, a meeting was held between the delegations of Bartın University and Khazar University. From Khazar University, the meeting was attended by Rector Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, Pro-Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Muhammad Nuriyev, Dean of the Graduate School of Science, Arts and Technology  Dr. Gunel Bahaddinova, Dean of the School of Economics and Management and Director of the Development Center Dr. Raziya Isayeva, Acting Dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences Aygun Verdiyeva, Department of Education Coordinator Gunay Gasimova, Head of International Relations Department Fatimah Valiyeva, and coordinators Jala Mammadova and Ilgara Abdullayeva.

After presentations from both sides, discussions were held and agreements reached on student and staff exchange and joint research.

At the end of the meeting, gifts were presented to the Bartın University delegation.

According to the program, accompanied by Deputy Director of the Library Information Center Aytaj Misgarly, the guests became familiar with the center's activities. At the Nailekhanim Cultural Center, they were provided detailed information about exhibits reflecting the life and work of prominent educator Nailekhanim Isayeva. Afterwards, Head of the Department of Physics and Electronics Farida Tatardar introduced the guests to the department and laboratory.

The next day, meetings were held with Deputy Dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences Parvin Karimova, at the Khazar University Narimanov Campus and "Dunya" School. Later, the guests visited the Martyrs' Alley with Jala Mammadova and went on an excursion in the Old City.
