From November 13-15, 2024, Dr. Nazakat Mammadli, Director of the Mowlana Literary-Philosophical Research Institute (MLPRI) at Khazar University, participated in the presentation ceremony of translations of works by the great Karakalpak poet Hajiniyaz Kosibay oglu into Turkish and Azerbaijani turkish, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the poet's birth, and in an international scientific conference jointly organized by the International Turkic Academy and the Karakalpak Institute of Humanitarian Sciences. The project was led by Shahin Mustafayev, President of the International Turkic Academy.
Hajiniyaz's works were translated into Azerbaijani turkish by Nazakat Mammadli and into Turkish by Huseyin Yildirim.
On November 13, at the presentation ceremony held at Berdakh Karakalpak University, N. Mammadli spoke about Karakalpak-Azerbaijani literary relations and the artistic features of Hajiniyaz's works as the compiler, translator, and author of notes, explanations, introduction, and glossary of the poetry book titled "Let me praise the land of Kalpak, my lords."
On November 14, the conference opening was held in the largest yurt (tent) registered in the Guinness Book of Records. N. Mammadli was presented with an Honorary Membership diploma from the Supreme Council of the Republic of Karakalpakstan for her services to Karakalpak literature.
Subsequently, sectional meetings were held where N. Mammadli presented a report on "Hajiniyaz and Azerbaijani Ashug Literature."
N. Mammadli was presented with both a letter of appreciation from the Turkic Academy and a conference certificate.
