On October 3, 2024, an international conference titled "The Organization of Turkic States on the 15th Anniversary of the Nakhchivan Agreement" was held in Nakhchivan, organized in collaboration between the Center of Analysis of International Relations (CAIR) and Nakhchivan State University. Scientists and experts from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan participated in the conference.

Fuad Najafli, the authorized representative of the President of Azerbaijan I. Aliyev for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Board of CAIR, delivered opening speeches, followed by presentations. Assoc. Prof. Telman Nusratoglu, Head of the History and Archaeology Department at Khazar University, also presented a report on "The Role of Turkic States in Preserving Security and Stability in the Silk Road Geography in the Context of Climate Crises."
