On September 11-12, 2024, a delegation from Khazar University, consisting of Lyudmila Sotova (Head of the Quality Assurance Center), Farida Tatardar (Head of the Physics and Electronics Department), and Salima Ahmadova (Project Manager at the Development Center), took part in a study visit to KU Leuven University in Gent, Belgium. This visit was part of the Erasmus+ CBHE project, "European Energy Efficiency towards Mutually Reinforcing Partnership with Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Ukraine - 3E-Partnership."
The agenda included a series of enriching activities aimed at enhancing the curriculum for Electrical Engineering, with a strong focus on energy efficiency. Participants engaged in discussions about modern trends in energy efficiency within electrical engineering, exploring best practices to incorporate into their own programs.
Curriculum development sessions, laboratory tours, information on renewable energy and the TRANSfarm project were the highlights of the visit.
This study visit not only strengthened ties between Khazar University and KU Leuven but also provided valuable insights that will contribute to ongoing curriculum reform initiatives.
