On September 23, 2024, Khazar University's Center of Translation and Interpretation, in collaboration with the Department of English Language and Literature, organized a training session led by Gulnara Ilham on the topic “The role of soft skills in a career”.

Elvin Abbasbeyli, the coordinator of the Center of Translation and Interpretation, opened the event by introducing Gulnara Ilham to the students from the English Language and Literature department. He said that Gulnara Iham, an instructor of the Department of Career Planning and Development of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, also offers training on topics such as effective communication, fluent speech, soft skills, and career development. Additionally, E. Abbasbeyli provided some details about the Center of Translation and Interpretation.
G. Ilham discussed the significance of soft skills for translators' careers, emphasizing their critical impact. She also led several interactive exercises with the students and answered questions.
