On September 18, 2024, Khazar University hosted Muhammad Anwar Dar, the founder of the Gujranwala Institute of Future Technologies (GIFT) in Pakistan. The meeting was attended by the Rector of Khazar University, Assoc. Prof. Irada Khalilova; Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev; Dean of the School of  Science and Engineering, Fakhranda Afandiyeva; Dean of the Graduate School of Economics and Business, Prof. Inqilab Ahmadov; Director of the Quality Assurance Center, Lyudmila Sotova; Acting Dean of the Graduate School of Science, Arts, and Technology, Gunel Baheddinova; and Head of the International Relations Department, Fatima Valiyeva.

The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration and partnerships between the institutions. The parties have provided information about the activities and faculties of the universities they represent. The guest got acquainted with Nailekhanim Culture Center, Design and Art room, library and Nanotechnology Laboratory of Khazar University. At the end of the meeting, gifts were exchanged and commemorative photos were taken.
